Downend Cricket Club Welcome Sri Lankan All-Rounder Kavindu Dilhara Through Pro-Crick Partnership

Pro-Crick is delighted to announce the signing of Sri Lankan domestic cricketer Garumuni Kavindu Dilhara with Downend Cricket Club for the upcoming season.

The talented right-arm medium-fast bowling all-rounder joins the historic Bristol-based club through Pro-Crick’s mission of connecting talented cricketers with the right opportunities across the UK.

Born on 21 January 2001 in Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka, Kavindu has developed through Sri Lanka’s competitive domestic cricket pathway. Educated at St. Aloysius’ College, Galle, he has represented Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club, gaining valuable experience as a player capable of making an impact with both bat and ball.

Established in 1893, Downend Cricket Club is a proud community-focused club based at the W.G. Grace Memorial Ground in Bristol. The club has a strong history of competitive cricket, player development and creating opportunities for cricketers from different backgrounds.

Kavindu’s arrival adds further strength and depth to the Downend squad as the club continues to build a competitive and welcoming cricket environment.
